What is 'meditainment'? Making your feed intentional again

"Meditainment" sounds like a gimmick until you notice the gap it names. Meditation is calm but cut off from the media you actually love. Your feeds are engaging but engineered to keep you scrolling. Meditainment is the bridge: the calm of the first, the pull of the second, aimed for once at your growth.

The feed is a marketplace

Every free feed is a marketplace, and the product is your attention. Recommendation engines are optimized to keep you watching — not to move your life forward. The incentive isn't evil; it's just not yours.

Intent, not algorithm

Invert the model and something quietly radical happens: you declare an intent, and everything downstream is built to serve it. Instead of an in-app feed, precise, context-aware searches reach into the platforms you already use — tuned to your domain, mood and moment:

  • YouTube: an evening stoic-philosophy video essay for deep focus.
  • Spotify: a low-stimulation instrumental for late-night clarity.
  • Medium: the psychology of unhurried mornings.

A ritual, not a scroll

The loop is short and deliberate: set an intent, enter a brief awakening, receive a personal insight, reflect by voice or text, and watch reflections accumulate into a private journal. No infinite feed. No engagement bait. A sanctuary that answers to you.

Feel your essence in all the chaos and noise.

Nine life domains. Algorithm-free. On-device.
